Final round

The final was originally scheduled for September 8 and 10, 1963, with both games in Guadalajara, Jalisco; however, the Haitian players were unable to obtain their passports on time, so the final was postponed on three occasions. On February 7, 1964, Guadalajara lodged a protest to CONCACAF, which declared the Mexican club champions, but after a counter-protest by Racing Club Haïtien, CONCACAF ordered on April 2 that the matches to be rescheduled of the matches within 2 months. Since Guadalajara were touring Europe at that time and were unable to travel home for the final, the final was scratched and Racing Club Haïtien were declared champions.
